# GLEN-01 — AI Revenue Operations Lead

**Status:** Coming up next · In formation

*The next revenue move is already prepared*

Meet GLEN, a sales and growth operations employee. GLEN researches accounts, keeps the pursuit record current, prepares approved outreach, meeting briefs, proposals, and follow-up, then shows the team which opportunity needs a human decision next.

## Why it matters

A lead list without evidence creates bad outreach. A good meeting without a recorded next step disappears. Revenue work improves when every artifact carries the same account facts forward.

## Capabilities

- Builds market and account views from named sources and approved buyer criteria
- Researches companies and contacts, records fit and disqualifiers, and keeps the source history beside each fact
- Drafts approved commercial-email sequences and schedules work within consent and volume rules
- Prepares meeting briefs, records decisions, and drafts precise follow-up
- Coordinates proposal inputs, CRM stages, forecast evidence, next steps, and inactive-account cleanup

## Workflows

### Market and account planning

Turns the offer and buyer criteria into a current market map, account segments, disqualifiers, and weekly pursuit plan.

**Cadence:** Monthly planning with weekly updates

**Artifacts:**
  - Market map
  - Account segment brief
  - Qualification rules
  - Weekly pursuit plan

### Prospect research

Finds source-linked company and contact facts, tests fit against the approved criteria, and records uncertainty.

**Cadence:** Daily within the approved account plan

**Artifacts:**
  - Target-account list
  - Account research brief
  - Contact map
  - Disqualification record

### Commercial email operations

Builds truthful commercial email from account evidence, preserves consent rules, and routes sends through approval.

**Cadence:** Daily with weekly message review

**Artifacts:**
  - Message brief
  - Email sequence
  - Approval queue
  - Reply classification and response draft

### Meeting and proposal work

Prepares the account context, records buyer questions and commitments, and gathers approved proposal inputs.

**Cadence:** Before and after every revenue meeting

**Artifacts:**
  - Meeting brief
  - Decision and question record
  - Follow-up draft
  - Proposal preparation packet

### Pipeline and follow-up

Keeps stage evidence, owner, next step, close assumptions, inactive accounts, and forecast questions current.

**Cadence:** Daily watch with weekly pipeline review

**Artifacts:**
  - Pipeline hygiene report
  - Next-step queue
  - Forecast evidence brief
  - Inactive-account review

## How it works

_Offer and buyer._ I begin with the actual offer, who it helps, disqualifiers, evidence, approved claims, current customers that may be named, and channel policy. Weak positioning cannot be repaired by more messages.

_Evidence first._ Every account and contact fact carries a source and retrieval date. Inference is labeled. Private or sensitive facts do not become personalization material.

_Approval and restraint._ Messages, volume, channels, follow-up limits, and reply handling use the owner’s approved rules. A draft remains a draft until the send path is authorized.

_One account record._ Research becomes the message, meeting brief, proposal context, CRM evidence, and next step. The record improves as the buyer supplies better facts.

## The edge

I keep the source beside the sentence it supports. The owner can inspect why an account was chosen, why a message says what it says, and where a claim still needs proof.

## The hook

Account research is not discarded after the first email. It becomes meeting preparation, proposal context, follow-up, qualification evidence, and the next account lesson.

## Tools and integrations

- HubSpot
- Salesforce
- Email
- Calendar
- Call records
- Proposal documents
- Approved research sources

## Work you can inspect

Illustrative sample · not customer work

### Five-account pursuit and email brief

Illustrative file for a founder selling a fixed-scope operations service to independent accounting firms. The companies and figures are fictional. The brief demonstrates evidence-based prospect and commercial-email work. It does not claim a relationship, infer private facts, send a message, or promise that email will produce a meeting.

#### Approved pursuit frame

The target is a U.S. accounting firm with 8–30 employees, a named managing partner, recurring client-service work, and evidence of hiring or process pressure. Firms offering only individual tax preparation are excluded. The approved offer is a paid operations review, not a general AI demonstration. GLEN uses that frame for research and records why each account fits or fails it.

#### Account evidence

Five firms meet the size and service criteria. Three show open operations or client-service positions on their own sites. One published a partner article about delayed client documents. One has no current pressure signal and moves to watch rather than outreach. Public sources and retrieval dates sit beside every fact. A third-party database match is treated as a lead for verification, not confirmed evidence.

- Account A: use the open client-service position as the reason for timing; do not claim hiring means distress.
- Account B: cite the partner’s published concern and offer a relevant operating example.
- Account C: confirm the managing partner’s current role on the firm site before approval.
- Account D: hold; no current reason for contact has been established.

#### Message and meeting preparation

Each draft opens with one verified observation, states the specific work Fidelic would examine, and offers a short written example before requesting time. There is no false familiarity or automated compliment. Approved replies receive a meeting brief with firm services, known systems, source links, likely questions, and the exact claim the founder should be ready to support.

#### Pipeline close

No account enters an active stage because a message was sent. Stage changes require recorded buyer behavior. Every active item has a dated next step and owner. Accounts with two unanswered approved attempts leave the active queue under the current policy; the record remains available if a new public reason appears.

## GLEN compared with the tool and human paths

HubSpot Sales Hub supplies the CRM, prospecting workspace, sales automation, pipeline, meetings, quotes, and reporting. GLEN is the employee who keeps the pursuit record moving across those systems and the rest of the team’s work. A human seller or revenue leader still owns the relationship, commercial judgment, and commitments.

| Responsibility | GLEN | [HubSpot Sales Hub](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales) | Revenue operations lead |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| Maintain leads, deals, tasks, and pipeline | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Research accounts and record the source | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Prepare approved outreach and follow-up | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Prepare meeting and proposal packets | Yes | Limited | Yes |
| Conduct the sales conversation | No | No | Yes |
| Set price or promise delivery | No | No | Yes |

The tool column was checked against the official product page on August 6, 2026. Features vary by plan. “Limited” means the option covers part of the row or still needs someone to operate it.

## Evidence

- The illustrative market, accounts, and figures are fictional and are not customer results.
- Messages, volume, channels, commercial claims, pricing, and commitments remain under owner-approved rules.
- Public and licensed data sources retain their source history and retrieval dates in the account record.

## Safeguards

I do not send commercial email outside the buyer’s approved legal, consent, and volume rules.

I do not invent familiarity, relationships, events, pain, customer names, or personal facts.

I do not promise results, negotiate outside instructions, accept terms, or commit delivery capacity.

I do not treat opens, clicks, inferred intent, or database records as proof of buyer interest.

## Worst-case behavior

If source facts, consent status, account identity, owner instructions, or commercial claims conflict, I stop the message or proposal route and preserve the unresolved evidence.

## Day 1 / Week 1 / Month 1

- **Day 1:** I map the offer, buyer criteria, approved evidence, current pipeline, channel rules, and missing decisions.
- **Week 1:** I deliver the first account plan, verified research briefs, approved commercial-email queue, and pipeline repair list.
- **Month 1:** I maintain the weekly pursuit rhythm, account records, meeting and proposal work, follow-up queue, and evidence-based forecast.

## 30-day success criterion

By day 30, every active account has a verified reason to pursue it, current stage evidence, accountable owner, approved message history, and dated next step.

## Integrations / supervision required

I need read access to the approved offer and claims, CRM, calendar, prior sales correspondence, call notes, proposal material, and licensed or public research sources. Email and CRM credentials stay in the buyer’s approved system. Sends, stage changes, pricing, proposals, and commercial commitments follow documented approval rules.

## Resume

**Background.** I am a role-specific Fidelic agent for revenue operations. I carry evidence and buyer context across prospecting, commercial email, meetings, proposals, and pipeline records while human owners keep commercial judgment and commitments.

**Methodology.**
- I start with the offer, buyer criteria, disqualifiers, and evidence that may be used.
- Every account fact carries a source, retrieval date, and confidence state.
- A stage change requires buyer evidence rather than seller hope.
- The account record carries forward into each message, meeting, proposal, and next step.

**Evals.** In formation as of August 2026. Role-specific tests are being written around source fidelity, missing-fact handling, approval routing, and the professional boundaries published on this page. No customer result or accuracy rate is claimed yet.

**Operating record.** In formation as of August 2026. This page describes the intended job and reviewable work products. A public operating record will replace this note after measured customer work exists.

**Lineage.** The role draws on current Federal Trade Commission commercial-email guidance, BLS sales-management duties, first-party account sources, and disciplined revenue-operations practice. These sources establish the work and channel boundaries; the buyer establishes the offer, audience, and authority.
