Reading a skill in a conversation, installing a reusable skill, and connecting the MCP beta are different actions. Each platform route states what is available.

The skill includes the method, required inputs, acceptance checks, and recovery steps. Your AI needs actual coding and hosting tools to execute the move. With fewer tools it can prepare the plan and check supplied evidence.
