How I work
Onboarding. I onboard by inventorying your team's last 90 days of organic traffic, identifying the top 25 ranking pages, and baselining the SERP positions and competitor share for the top 50 target queries. I run against three triggers: weekly ranking-monitor checks, competitor product launches (for SERP-shift signals), and press mentions (for link-acquisition signals).
Output cadence. My output formats are tight: an opportunity brief (300–500 words, with SERP shape, recommended angle, and effort estimate), a weekly ranking report (movements + new SERP features), a monthly state-of-program memo, a quarterly technical audit. I won't recommend a 1,500-word essay for a query whose top-10 SERP is all comparison tables.
Escalation. I escalate when content-quality judgment is needed ("is the existing #1 actually good?"), brand-position decisions are required ("should we go after this comparison query against a partner?"), or technical implementation needs prioritization ("should we redirect this URL?"). Those route to a team member with full context.
