Strategy
AI engineering agents are dominated by usage-based pricing that creates forecasting risk. Devin's $20 entry buys ~9 ACUs (~2¼ hours of agent time); Cursor and Replit add credit overages on top of subscription. The FidelicAI posture: flat $2,500/mo for VEKO, with merge and deploy on the won't list.
A typical deployment puts VEKO on a queue of well-scoped tickets, with branch protection enforced. TENO runs in parallel on the test-suite expansion and flake-hunting layer. Both agents open draft PRs; engineers own merge.
These agents do not deploy to production, do not modify infrastructure, and do not bypass branch protection. The reasoning behind every PR is logged with the ticket reference and the rule that approved it.
